I've been excited about getting some SleepPhones for ages now. Mine arrived several days early, and I was immediately impressed by how comfy they were. Normal headphones make my ears hurt after about an hour, but I can keep these on all day. Sleeping on my side is no problem; I can barely feel the speakers. The music fidelity is much better than I expected, too. The headphones sit a little farther forward on my head than I anticipated (practically on my temples), so if I press on my ears through the fleece it almost completely blocks out the sound. This messes with the quality a little when I'm laying on my side, but for sleeping it's no problem at all. I play brown noise on loop on my iPod all night long. It really helps me sleep without noisy fans that bother my roommates! The headband blocks out atmospheric noise fairly well (about 70%) with the volume at an average level -- about as loud as a box fan -- and almost completely while listening to music. So far I haven't had any problems with the cord getting too twisted or the headband falling in front of my eyes -- although you can put it there on purpose to block out a little extra light too!The biggest disadvantage I can think of is that while it blocks out other sound pretty well, it doesn't do a good job of keeping the sound in. You can hear music pretty clearly when someone else is wearing them. It's not too big of a deal, though.Pros:- Super comfy!- Great music quality for what it is- No problems laying on my side- Blocks out a lot of outside sound- Doubles as an okay sleep mask if you want- Tight enough to stay put but not so tight as to be uncomfortableCons:- Others can hear what you're listening to if it's up too loud- Not the best for surround sound if you lie on your sideAll in all I would absolutely recommend this. Totally worth the price.
